Noodler's Black (Bulletproof) fountain pen ink. Noodler's Black was developed in an attempt to create an ink so feather-resistant that it could be used for doing crosswords on a newspaper.
Special Properties:
- Bulletproof: This ink is water resistant on cellulose-based papers and resists all known tools of forgers, including UV light, bleach, alcohol, and other solvents. This ink may still be vulnerable to smearing when exposed to water.
- Eternal: Made to resist the effects of time, this ink is archival, fade resistant, and unaffected by humid or acidic conditions.
Noodler's inks are handcrafted, so there may be slight color variations from batch to batch.

I have been using parker quink black as my main ink for months now, never really thought much of it. But over time I wrote a lot more and I realized water resistance is a big deal if I want to keep my notes for the future. I didn't know what to expect, just thought maybe the same ink with some water resistance properties?
I doesn't dry as fast but still fast enough and bleeds less on cheap paper, the water resistance on the papers I used them on was perfect absolutely no bleeding. The color is also a deeper black than the parker. Parker was more of a deep blueish black.
Another unexpected thing was how smooth it made my pen feel, I didn't expect much to change but on cheap scratchy paper it started gliding likely cause the page isn't getting soaked in ink. It's ever so slightly thicker it took a little while to wick through my pen. Here are some pictures.
