I love quality fountain pen-friendly paper. Pens and inks normally get all the attention and adulation from pen fans. I always thought good writing paper was just as important and appealing.
I use my fountain pens and inks every day of the year. For that, I’ve always needed great paper to write on. I found the Nebula Basic notepad available on the pensgalaxybd.com website and promptly decided to buy it. Mainly because it has the superb, light and lovely 52 gsm Tomoe River paper, which is still one of my favorite papers to write on. Also, it has the blank paper which (along with lined/ruled) remains my preferred paper style.
The Nebula notepad is also very fairly priced (considering current currency exchange rates and international pricing). The only minor complaint I have is that the detachable sheets seem to tear off rather too easily. And the glue binding always worries me regarding its durability. Also, if available, I always prefer Notebooks to Notepads. And A4, B5 sizes best. This A5 notepad is slightly too small for my needs. That said, Nebula makes quality products. And I’d easily recommend the Nebula Basic Note pad to anybody wanting the very best in paper for convenience and pleasure for daily fountain pen use.
