Nice pen for writing
A lot of people will recommend you start with a Jinhao Shark when you're starting your fountain pen journey, and if you're going to buy a Jinhao Shark, definitely buy it from here. This is the latest generation of the product with the improved Lamy Style nib, also used in their Jinhao 80, and works just as flawlessly. No skipping. No hard start. You're getting a 800 taka writing experience for a quarter of the price. I have two sharks previously bought from other vendors and they were horrible. The nibs needed a lot of adjustment and they still don't work well. This didn't have that problem. Started writing perfectly as soon as I put in some ink. It also doesn't have the uncomfortable triangular grip in previous Jinhao Sharks.
Make sure to wash your nib before inserting ink into the converter as the pen has some blue ink left on it. This is from the Quality Control process, something very rare from a Chinese pen manufacturer.
A few cons (not really cons if you consider the price point):
The grip is a bit too thick for me.
The plastic finish feels cheap and will scratch easily.
This is a great first fountain pen. Since it's also a completely original design, if you have a moral issue with buying chinese pens because they're copies of other reputed pens, that's not an issue here.
Just buy it.
For the price, it’s the bed one can ask for. The packaging was great and the pen itself is really nice. And it has a good ink capacity.
