Converter Included 

The LAMY Aion is a completely new series of writing instruments, designed by Jasper Morrison. The black body and cap are constructed from solid aluminum, each made from seamless closed components. The body features an anodized matte finish, while the grip has a matte blasted circular-brushed finish. The spring-loaded clip is made from stainless steel with the logo embossed on the side. A new innovative stainless steel nib with unconventional contours is exclusive to this series, yet interchangeable with the existing LAMY steel nibs.

This fountain pen comes with a blue LAMY ink cartridge as well as a LAMY Z27 converter, 2 Years Official Warranty Card in a Lamy Gift Box to get you started writing right away!

I love the Lamy Aion. It’s my favorite Lamy pen, next only to the iconic Lamy 2k. In fact, these are possibly the only two Lamy pens I genuinely care for most.
The Aion is a typically minimalist and non-flashy Lamy in design and overall aesthetics. It appeals to me a lot. I enjoy the Aion’s dimensions - length, girth, weight and feel in hand. I prefer the Aion’s size, looks and comfort far more than the Lamy Studio.
The nib is different and prettier in appearance than the standard nibs on other Lamy pens.
The only fault I found with the Aion is that the converter probably doesn’t fit optimally. Because I’ve experienced annoying ink flow issues using the converter. The pen would write for a while but then stop because ink won’t flow to the feed. But I had no problems when I switched to the cartridge. And I’m somebody who always prefers converters to cartridges. But this is not a big problem.
I’ll end by saying that the Aion is a simple, yet good looking pen, for sophisticated tastes. It is also an excellent value on price. It’s bigger and better than the Studio, which is its nearest competitor in price (the Aion is cheaper).
I like the Aion enough to have bought two: the beautiful Silver and the exceptional Dark Green (w/F & M nibs, respectively). Pen fans who already own the Safari & Co. must consider the Lamy Aion as a great next level Lamy to have.
